Online therapy works the exact same way as in- person therapy, it’s just we are each in our own spaces. I suggest you find a comfortable, private spot where you can talk openly. All you’ll need is a device with a camera, microphone, and stable internet, or a cell phone if we are having a phone session.

I specialize in providing convenient, high-quality care right where you are, so I exclusively offer online therapy sessions. While I’m based in Boulder County, my virtual format allows me to extend my reach to serve clients throughout Colorado. This way, you can receive the support you need without the hassle of commuting—meaning more time for what matters most to you.
-
Absolutely! I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to see if we might be a good fit to work together.
-
My current rate of service is $180/session. Sessions are 50 minutes in length, and can be extended or shortened at a prorated rate accordingly. I understand adding counseling to your list of expenses may seem like a lot. But, the expense of not getting help can be even more costly. Unresolved issues can negatively impact all areas of your life. Receiving professional support is priceless.
-
I accept all major credit cards as well as HSA cards. I keep card numbers securely on file to run post sessions for your convenience.

I do not work with any insurance. However, depending on your insurance policy, you may be able to submit/receive a reimbursement for out-of-network services, per your policy for counseling services. You may contact your insurance company for specific details of your coverage. I can provide you with a superbill that you may submit to your insurance. Please contact your insurance company prior to booking if you are hoping to be reimbursed..
*Although there are times it is financially necessary to utilize insurance benefits for counseling, here are a few important considerations:
The insurance company decides how many sessions you may have for treatment, not you.
All insurance claims/superbills require a diagnostic code, even if one does not exist. A diagnostic code can limit or affect future insurance coverage among other things.
Even under new privacy policies private information is shared with insurance companies.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

Our first appointment is typically an extension from your consultation call. It is an opportunity for the two of us to connect and for me to learn about you, why you are seeking support, what you are hoping to achieve, etc. This will also be a time to determine if we will have a good working dynamic. Often clients leave the first session with new insight and even a tool or exercise to begin to implement right away on their path to healing.
-
There is not a one size fits all answer since each of us is unique and our goals and paths are individual. However, we will find what’s best for you. That may mean we meet every week, every other week, or once a month. We may meet for a short period of time or for a longer period of time depending on your needs. When beginning therapy I recommend meeting once a week so that you can get the help you seek more quickly and start to gain momentum.
-
The length of therapy is case by case, depending on a number of factors. We can discuss this as it pertains to you and your uniqueness.

I do not provide emergency services. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency please call 911 or head to your nearest ER. If it is not an emergency and you need to reach me after hours, please send me an email.
-
Because your session time has been exclusively reserved for you, I kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hour notice will incur the full session fee.
