Experiencing pain day in and day out, and pushing through it, is exhausting and unbearable.

You don’t remember life without pain because you have felt like this for so long. Maybe you’ve been diagnosed with a chronic illness, been in an accident, or maybe the origin of your pain is a mystery. You’ve tried everything – appointments with specialists, scans, medications, and pain pills. Yet you’re still hurting, desperate for relief, wondering if you’ll ever know life without the pain you’re experiencing.

Maybe you feel defeated - resigned to the notion that living with pain is just how it is. Often all you can envision for your future is more dark rooms, time spent in bed, limitations, and difficulty moving and concentrating. Or perhaps you’ve still got a small glimmer of hope that one day your pain will finally subside and you’ll be able to know what it feels like without the constant nag of pain and discomfort.

You want relief and you want to feel safe in your body again. Let’s process your pain together.

At present, you are…

  • Suffering from chronic pain and other physical symptoms.

  • Frustrated with everything you’ve done and tried and nothing has changed yet.

  • Discouraged and disappointed that nothing has truly helped.

  • Feeling isolated and misunderstood by your loved ones.

  • Tired of talking about, thinking about, and feeling your pain.

  • Struggling to get through your days and all your responsibilities.

I want to teach you ways to work with your pain so you can increase your well-being and live the life you deserve.

How We’ll Work Together

Your pain is very real.

Pain can be all consuming and debilitating. I believe you when you say you’re hurting. AND, what if instead of fighting the pain, and being at odds with it (though understandable), you paused, slowed down, and got curious about the pain you’re feeling. What if you could get to know your pain, your relationship with it, and the impact it has on your life differently.

Pain is your brain’s way of trying to protect you — but sometimes our inner pain alarm gets stuck.  You can think of it like a needle on a record player, playing the same song over and over. Together we will do more than manage your symptoms. We will work with your pain, but we will do so via your brain, your mind, and your nervous system so you can start to play a new song.

I utilize a variety of approaches to help clients heal including EFT tapping, hypnotherapy, mindfulness based stress reduction, parts and somatic work, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)—to help you slow things down, go inward, gain awareness, send signals of safety to your nervous system, and help your brain understand it's okay now. Our work together is always specifically tailored to you, your pain, and your needs, with a focus on creating and expanding your sense of safety, healing, and ease.

Questions?

FAQs

  • Absolutely. All pain is real. Pain is a protective signal created by your brain and nervous system — not something imagined or “in your head.” When there’s no clear injury, it often means your brain has learned to stay on high alert, keeping pain signals “on” even after the body has healed. Through mind-body work, we can help retrain those neural pathways so your system feels safe again, and pain no longer runs the show.

  • Yes. Even when pain comes from an injury, illness, or a physical condition, the nervous system plays a major role in how much pain you feel and how long it lasts. By calming the stress response, regulating the body, and working with the subconscious mind, we can help reduce pain intensity and improve healing — even alongside medical treatment.

  • Neuroplastic pain (sometimes called mind-body or learned pain) happens when the brain continues to send pain signals after the original injury or trigger has resolved. Physical pain usually comes from an active tissue injury or medical issue. In reality, most people experience a mix of both. Understanding which parts are neuroplastic can open the door to powerful relief and recovery.
