Trauma Therapist in Louisville, Online Across CO

Heal from what’s happened and rediscover who you are.

No matter how much time passes, the memories of what you went through still feel present in your mind and body.

You do everything you can to keep those old emotions from resurfacing—avoiding certain places or activities, staying up super late to postpone the nightmares, being hyper-aware of your surroundings—but they continue to show up regardless of how careful you are. Sometimes, you get anxious to the point of panic, and other times you feel completely frozen. And it’s embarrassing and hard to explain every time you overreact to something small or have a flashback in public.

You want to overcome what you’ve been through and move forward in your life—I’m here to help you do that.

Maybe you’ve experienced…

  • Abuse, neglect, bullying, or being treated poorly—which has made it hard to truly trust or connect intimately with anyone.

  • A natural disaster that has forced you to rebuild your life from the ground up.

  • The grief of losing a loved one or ending a significant relationship.

  • A serious health diagnosis, medical procedure, or chronic pain.

  • A scary event like a car accident or near-death experience.

  • Feeling helpless or hopeless that you could ever truly feel better.

I believe the echoes of the past can continue to haunt us until we choose to face them—but you won’t have to face them alone.

How we’ll work together

Empowering you to cultivate a greater sense of resilience.

Healing from trauma isn’t about forcing yourself to move on—it’s about creating a space where you can feel safe, supported, and in control of your own process.

In therapy with me, we start by getting comfortable around one another—we won’t jump into the deep end right away. Over time, we’ll start talking about what memories you’re carrying, what’s triggering you, and what you might need to feel grounded. From there, we work together to gently untangle and free you from your past, using evidence-based methods like Accelerated Resolution Therapy, EMDR, or Emotional Freedom Technique to help your mind and body process what’s been stuck.

The idea isn’t to make you relive the pain—it’s to eliminate your symptoms, shift your perspective, and resolve difficult emotions to find relief. This is deep work, but my goal is that it feels more gradual and supportive than arduous or scary. Along the way, we’ll build a practical toolkit of strategies—things you can actually use in day-to-day life—to help you navigate life with more confidence and trust in yourself.

Specialized therapy for trauma can empower you to tap into your inner strength and take back the narrative of your life.

You don’t have to stay stuck in the past—healing takes time, but this work can help you feel stronger, more grounded, and more in control of your life.

With the right support, you can:

  • Remember what happened without it holding the same weight

  • Shift unhelpful patterns

  • Build a more compassionate relationship with yourself

  • Learn tools to help you navigate emotions, set healthier boundaries, and communicate in ways that feel true to you

  • Reclaim the parts of yourself that may have felt lost, deepen your connections, and move forward into the rest of your life.

Begin the journey toward a future that feels like yours.
