What is the rate of service?

My current rate for services:

Individual Counseling or Coaching session- $150-180 per 60-minutes

Hypnotherapy- session is 90 minutes in length and is $220

Sound Healing- $125 per 60-minutes

Payment is expected at time of service. I accept or credit cards and keep a card number on file. I understand adding counseling and healing to your list of expenses may seem overwhelming. But, think of the expense of not getting help. Unresolved issues can negatively impact all areas of your life. Receiving professional support is priceless.

Do you take insurance?

At this time I do not accept insurance. However, many companies will reimburse a portion of fees for out-of-network services.  You may contact your insurance company for specific details of your coverage.  I can provide you with an invoice that you may submit to your company for third party or out-of-network reimbursement.

Although there are times it is financially necessary to utilize insurance benefits for therapy, here are a few important considerations:

-The insurance company decides how many sessions you may have for treatment, not you.
-All insurance claims require a diagnostic code, even if one does not exist. A diagnostic code can limit or affect future insurance coverage among other things.
-Even under new privacy policies private information is shared with insurance companies.

What populations do you work with?

I work primarily with individuals- young adults and adults.

What is your cancellation policy?

Since I have reserved your appointment time exclusively for you, it is my policy to receive at least a 24 hour cancellation notice or you will be charged your full session rate for the appointment.

How does confidentiality work?

All of our conversations are completely confidential (except where mandated otherwise by the law).

What will our first appointment look like?

Our first appointment is an opportunity for the two of us to connect and for me to learn about you, why you are seeking support, what you are hoping to achieve, etc. as well as a time for me to answer any questions you might have.  This will also be a time to determine if we will have a good working dynamic since client/counselor fit is essential in the therapeutic process.  If needed, I will be happy to provide a referral for someone who may be a better fit.

What will future sessions look like?

After the first appointment we will have a clearer picture of the course of counseling and our time together will be more focused and structured.  Depending on your goals there may be growth exercises outside of our time together.

How often will we meet?

There is not a one size fits all answer since each of us is unique and our goals and paths are individual.  However, we will find what’s best for you.  That may mean we meet every week, every other week, or once a month.  We may meet for a short period of time or for a year or more depending on your needs.

What is unique about Kintsugi Integrative?

Kintsugi Integrative Wellness strives to incorporate the whole person into counseling and healing through an integrative and holistic approach.  While we will work on your presenting issues, needs, and goals, we will do so by also paying attention to the other areas of your life which may be impacted without much awareness.  My goal is to help you develop greater awareness and assist you in increasing your overall well-being by being more mindful, present, and well. Kintsugi Integrative Wellness utilizes components from a variety of theoretical orientations to best suit the needs of each client. I do not believe in a one-approach-fits-all-people/issue mentality.
